Allura Markow, a senior at Dana Hills High in California, won the CIF Southern Section Division 3 girls cross country title at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif. Markow covered the 2.93-mile layout in 17:31.4 to become the first female individual champion for the Dolphins since 2009 and lead them to a 52-110 victory against South Torrance, as both teams advanced to the Nov. 26 state final at Woodward Park in Fresno.
